How To Disable MS Word Editor in SmartForms

If you are fed up with the integrated MS Word functionality in SAP SmartForms / Sapscript, you can disable it with the following steps:

Go to transaction i18n

Open “i18n Customizing

Select “MS Word As Editor”

Here, uncheck SmartForm & Sapscript, save, activate, and exit. Next time you enter SMARTFORMS or SE78, you will see the good ole editor.
